Designel Media Sdn Bhd was formed as a company in May 2005, but had initiated www.eilham.com in 2001 as a freelance portfolio for multimedia design and development. Since www.eilham.com inception, it had garnered six awards for its design (Designer's Depot, New Web Pick, Design Firms, Cool Home Pages, World Wide Web Awards and iValueHost.NET). Also, the Managing Director of Designel Media Sdn Bhd, Ahmad Zahirudin was one of the key person to have designed the e-learning roadmap for Open University Malaysia which is being used to this day. Ahmad Zahirudin also designed and delivered Maybank's pioneer e-learning courseware, Getting Results: The New Performace Management System, and continued on to deliver the bank's online English course after that (Maybank English E-Learning Programme). His other portfolio of works include projects for Takaful Nasional (now etiQa), PETRONAS, and the National E-Learning Centre of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (through METEOR Sdn Bhd).
